HBO Max Pop-Up Exhibit: Genera+ion Un-Fashion Showcase

Come experience the HBO Max Genera+ion Un-Fashion Showcase, a two-week long pop-up art exhibit at The LAB Anti-Mall celebrating the launch of the dramedy’s first season.

Genera+ion is a new half-hour series following a diverse group of high school students navigating deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community. The installation is modern, interactive and embodies the playful and boundary-pushing spirit of Gen Z. HBO Max partnered with premier fashion school FIDM and Genera+ion Costume Designer Shirley Kurata to select up-and-coming student and alumni designers to create custom-made fashion looks inspired by each of the central characters in the series. The Un-Fashion Showcase was designed by New York-based artist Mason Webb and was photographed by rising photographer Myles Loftin.

The installation is open to the public now through Monday, April 12th and is compliant with all local, county, state, and federal COVID recommendations and requirements.

So come stop by the LAB Living Room, see the interactive installation, and grab a selfie in your best Gen-Z inspired outfit
