Meet Patricia of Bootlegger's Brewery

Meet Patricia Barkenhagen, co-owner of Bootlegger’s Brewery! As a 1st generation born Filipino American, Patricia has brought a family-oriented mentality to the forefront of Bootlegger’s approach to business.

“My parents were both born and raised in Metro Manila Philippines,” Patricia said. “They immigrated here in their 20s and I’m the first on my mother's side to be born in America. Coming from a Filipino background and culture, we are very family-oriented,” she said. “This environment fosters a great appreciation of people from all backgrounds. At Bootlegger's, we love being a business where we try to make our team feel like family as well as give a very welcoming vibe to our tasting rooms in hopes all can feel welcome.”
